Overview:

The QuickBooks Accounting Specialist is responsible for categorizing business transactions, handling monthly reconciliations, and producing financial statements for a number of different businesses across many industries.

Qualifications:

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related program
  • Master’s degree / CPA license is a plus
  • 1-3 Years QuickBooks Online Bookkeeping Experience
  • Extreme organization and multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills

For the QuickBooks Accounting Specialist to be successful, they should be a go-getter and out-of-the-box thinker when it comes to helping small and medium sized businesses with their bookkeeping, accounting, and cash flow needs. QuickBooks and number-crunching must excite you. It should give you great joy and purpose bringing your valuable knowledge and skill set to help businesses grow and to stay on top of one of the most important things – their profit. You’ll use this skill set (and develop new ones) to oversee the day-to-day financial transactions of these clients. From small to medium sized organizations, many with multiple entities and intricacies, you will perform all the necessary bookkeeping tasks coupled with monthly financial reporting and year-end wrap up.

Functional Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain an up-to-date and accurate QuickBooks file (Both Desktop and Online)
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
  • Audit cash and charge card receipts
  • Process payroll and payroll tax reporting
  • Manage and process all aspects of accounts payable and receivable
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts, credit cards, loan accounts, and petty cash accounts
  • Collect information as needed for annual audit
  • Maintain a coherent system of accounts
  • Manage 1099 tracking
  • Complete a month-end close
  • Execute and process payroll via Payroll Relief software
  • Create documented checklists and SOPs for all procedures you are responsible for

Location:

Full-time, hybrid, remote, or onsite position based on location.
